Hello, hello! It's that time of the month where we scrap our stash, with Practical Scrappers! You should have arrived here from Susanna's blog - if you didn't you may want to go back and check out all of the wonderful inspiration! This group of ladies are so talented and always are full of fabulous ideas! This month I decided to make a fall themed card.
The base of my card I used the oval Book Cover Tim Holtz embossing folder and manila card stock then shaded with walnut stain, vintage photo and gathered twigs distress ink.
The center leaf is the Layered Leaf Tim Holtz die. I cut, colored, embossed and shaded the leaf with ripe persimmon, spiced marmalade, mustard seed and peeled paint distress ink. For some of the background twigs I actually used a combination of real twigs and cut card stock twigs with the autumn gatherings and spring greenery Tim Holtz dies. I cut the Tim Holtz tattered banners die out of kraft card stock and adhered some Tim Holtz Remnant Rubs for the wording. The final addition, I added a hand dyed crinkled ribbon bow.
I hope you enjoyed my fall themed card, now it's time to hop on over to Majken's blog! Thanks for stopping by and we'll see you next time!
