Pink Paislee & Graphic 45 Design Team Projects

Up first is some Pink Paislee City Sidewalks. Now I know Christmas is over, but if you are like me I haven't even edited and ordered my prints yet :)  This first project had a Canvas Corp base that I had sewn my layout to.  I shaded and distressed my edges of the papers with Tim Holtz Walnut Stain ink and a distressing tool.  I die cut the stocking out of a sizzix die.  The little pouch is an SRM Glassine bag.  I typed the little wishes in the pouch with my vintage Underwood/Olivetti manual typewriter (I just LOVE that little piece of history!!!).  To top it off, I hung my canvas from a Melissa Frances hanger

My next two layouts were a mixure of paper and die cut embellishments from the collection.  The number 25, Noel and the snowflake rosette are Tim Holtz dies.  All edges are shaded with ink and distressed with a distressing tool.

Now for some Graphic 45 Bird Song.  I loved working with this line.  It has such beautiful artwork in it.  My first project is a trifold/screen depending on the way you display it.  I cut out several pieces from the paper line and layered and accented with glossy accents.  I bound 3 pieces of black chipboard with binding tape.

This is a quick card I made with one of the cut out girls sheet.

When I saw this paper, I just knew I had to do some fussy cutting.  It's hard to tell but I fussy cut the geisha girl, the birds and the flowers.  I accented with glossy accents.  I also cut out the postage birds to the left to make room for some small photos.

Thanks for looking!!!  :)

January ATC Class

Just wanted to do a quick post on this months ATC Class.  The class its self was yesterday, January 19th, however I would like to tell you there are a few class kits left.  If you would like a class kit just call The Scrapbooking Studio (Bloomington) at 309-585-0409.  The theme was vintage valentine, you know me and vintage :)  I have just returned from CHA Winter 2013 and have lots of pictures to share with you.  I have been editing like crazy, so hopefully in the next few days I will have a GIANT post for you :)
