Society of Gents Baseboard Book...

Hello friends, I'm glad you've stopped by!  I'd like to share a project that I created for Tim Holtz's idea-ology booth at Creativation (formerly-CHA) 2017 this year.  I was so honored to be asked to make a few things for Tim.  If you check Tim's blog here you can see the list/links of incredibly talented designers that made up many of the projects for Tim's Idea-ology, Sizzix, Stampers Anonymous and Ranger booths.  Plus, Tim takes you on an awesome booth tour!  Many of the designers are starting to post some of their Creativation projects to their blogs, you don't want to miss it!
I used the new idea-ology Baseboards for my front and back cover of the mini book.  I really enjoyed using them, they're super sturdy, yet can still be altered.  I used a crop-a-dile to punch the holes in the front back covers, they are far too thick for a regular punch.
Lots of new idea-ology pieces were used to create this mini.  That little dog charm is just the cutest, he's in the new idea-ology treasures pack.
I just can not get enough of those paper dolls!  I'm dreaming up all sorts of fun projects with them...
I used the idea-ology binder punch to create the holes in all the remaining inside pages of the mini book, it worked perfectly.
I did a lots of distressing throughout the book to give it that vintage feel.
I'm so happy that Tim has given us so much vintage variety with all the new Design Tapes.  My planner is going to be so happy.  I want to use the new design tapes on EVERYTHING now.  They're so much fun to layer up, just using pieces here and there.

I used the new idea-ology 8x8 Etcetera Paper Stash for several of the inside pages
and accents…just like these cigar bands.
I'm gonna need those new clippings stickers in bulk...
I loved the touch of gold from the gilded accents.

Design Tape for days, I will definitely be using lots more for future projects.  They're all just so, so good.
I held the mini book together using 2 idea-ology mini book rings, they were just the right size for the job.
Thank you is not nearly enough, however…I would like to thank Tim and Paula for asking me to be a part of the team!  I hope you enjoyed todays project!  You can find the supplies I've used via the links below.  If you have any questions please let me know I love your comments, I truly appreciate each and everyone of them!  I hope you'll check back soon, I'll be sharing more Creativation projects.  As always thanks for stopping by and I'll see you next time!  xx
