Compendium of Curiosities III Challenge #26

Hello friends!  It's time for Compendium of Curiosities III Challenge #26, I'm just barely getting in on this one!  Linda Ledbetter is hosting this CC3 Challenge over on her blog Studio L3.  All the tips and techniques for this challenge is found on page 42 of Tim Holtz's Compendium of Curiosities Volume Three book.  If you don't have this great book you can find it here and Tim Holtz will even sign it for you!  This challenge is sponsored by The Funkie Junkie Boutique who have a wonderful $25 gift voucher to give away to one lucky winner. Also, the Curiosity Crew Pick wins a fabulous pack of goodies from Tim and Mario!  Now, here is my take on this fun Smudge Stamping Technique Challenge!  I went with another masculine theme :)
I've listed all the stamps and ink colors I have used to create this tag in the links below.
Now that I'm finished with Challenge #26, I'm ready for #27...bring it on!
Remember to enter your "Anything Goes" themed projects over at Inspiration Journal and one lucky winner will be given a very generous $50 gift credit, to spend at Inspiration Emporium.  You can find most of the supplies I used at Inspiration Emporium via the links below.  Remember to use my coupon code - vintagemuse - to save 10% on your order.  That wraps it up for me, I hope you enjoyed my Smudge Stamping Technique tag!   If you have any questions or if there's anything I missed please let me know I love your comments, I appreciate each and everyone of them!  As always thanks for stopping by and I'll see you next time!

  1. Love this tag Bobbi, it has a wonderful feeling of adventure about it! I love the world map and the addition of the air mail letters - it has left me wondering what the story behind that man is.... Anne x

  4. Bobbi, your tag is just so interesting, and I could look at it all day long! The world map looks great on there, and all the elements and other stamps you chose make me think this man is considering which way to go. I love the air mail! I do have a question--are your spritz and flick splatters done with simple water or have you included some Picket Fence of some sort? I am a huge fan of S/F, and this just looks different from anything I've been able to achieve, and would like to get a similar look. Thanks so much!

    1. Hi Sara, I'd be happy to share! I'm a HUGE fan of S/F too!!! I just used good ol' plain water and a heat tool. Don't soak up water with towel, let it wick out and dry with heat tool. Hope that helps :)
