Hello, my blogging friends! It's that time of the month where we scrap our stash, with Practical Scrappers! You should have arrived here from Suzanna's blog - if you didn't you may want to go back and check out all of the wonderful inspiration! This great group of ladies are so talented and are always full of fabulous ideas! Our theme this month is Halloween or fall, I decided to go with Thanksgiving. I plan on incorporating this into my Thanksgiving centerpiece on my dinning room table.
This is where it all started, I had some scrap pieces of manila card stock left over from a different project that I had colored and stamped. I'm always hanging onto scraps of paper if I think I can use it for a different project.
I recently made a Halloween tag that used a Tim Holtz technique, I liked it so much that I decided to do the technique again except on a Thanksgiving tag.Tim Holtz has a great tutorial on his blog here if you would like to learn the technique, from start to finish. I just applied the stamps and dies and inks that I chose for my tag today.
The scrapbook paper that I chose to work with, was a small Thanksgiving snippet out of the Tim Holtz seasonal paper stash collection.
I hope you enjoyed my Thanksgiving themed tag, now it's time to hop on over to Majken's blog! You can find all the supplies I used at Inspiration Emporium via the links below. Remember to use my coupon code - vintagemuse - to save 10% on your order. Thanks for stopping by and I'll see you next time! xx
