Christmas ATC's

Hello friends!  Happy weekend!  I had to squeeze in a couple of simple ATC's for Christmas in July!  I don't know whether I will use these ATC's as gift tags, maybe put them on a cardfront or something else.  Artist Trading Cards are just about as versatile to me as the tags I make.  There are so many things you can do with them.  Here's how I put them together.  I die cut a couple of ATC's using Distress Watercolor Cardstock.  I stamped the Christmas tree and greeting (which are Tim's new Scribbly Christmas Set) with Jet Black Archival Ink.  I watercolored with Distress Markers and a Waterbrush, then heat to dry.  I added some Brushed Pewter Distress Paint through Tim's Speckles Stencil (that one always reminds me of falling snow) with a blending tool.  Then dried with a heat tool.  I distressed a number brad and added a snippet of an index label.
I used three different blue distress inks on the Weathered Snowflake (Tim's new Mini Weathered Winter Stamp Set) and stamped onto the watercolor cardstock.  I lightly mist water over stamped image until it began to wick color, then dried with my heat tool.  I stamped the number 25 with Potting Soil Archival Ink on top of the snowflake.  I shaded the edges of watercolor cardstock with Antique Linen Distress Ink and a blending tool.  I flicked a little Tumbled Glass and Brushed Pewter Distress Spray Stain onto ATC and dried with a tool.  For a final touch I added a bit of Idea-ology Merriment Tissue Tape and Mini Paperclip.
You can find most of the supplies I used at Inspiration Emporium via the links below.  Remember to use my coupon code - vintagemuse - to save 10% on your order.  That wraps it up for me, I hope you enjoyed todays projects!  As always thanks for stopping by and I'll see you next time!

  1. Your tree ATC is super cute. I love the brushed pewter through the stencil, it looks very like snow.
