Have An Open Heart...Frayed Fabric Tag

Hi everyone, I sure have missed you guys!!!  I've had quite an exciting creative adventure!   For those of you that don't peek in on me in Instagram, I have been designing lots of samples for Tim Holtz & Stampers  Anonymous CHA 2015 booths in Anaheim, California!  I'll start sharing them on my blog soon :)  Today I'm sharing a project that I did for Inspiration Emporiums "Fresh Start" Challenge and Compendium of Curiosities III Challenge hosted by Linda Ledbetter.  Challenge number 19 is found on page 66 of Tim Holtz's Compendium of Curiosities Volume Three book.  If you don't have this great book you can find it here and Tim Holtz will even sign it for you!!!  This challenge is sponsored by Inspiration Emporium who have a wonderful $50 gift voucher to give away to one lucky winner. Also, the Curiosity Crew Pick wins a fabulous pack of goodies from Tim and Mario!  Now,here is my take on this "Frayed Fabric" challenge!
I started off my tag according to Tim's directions using his awesome fabric.  I die cut a silver deco sheet (one of Tim's new ideology products) using the trellis die.  I added a little bit of mushroom alcohol ink to the silver finish.  I die cut a leaf sprig from the spring greenery die and wallflower vellum.  I used some of the thrift shop ephemera pieces.  I stamped the birds nest on kraft card stock using jet black archival ink, then shading all my paper pieces with walnut stain ink and a blending tool.
I added a hand dyed crinkle ribbon bow and attached some charms. The circle charm called "typed tokens" and the flower called "heirloom roses", are pieces from Tim's newest ideology release (your going to love them)!!!  I adhered my heirloom rose to a heart charm and of course I had to grunge everything up a little bit.  Have an open heart quote is From Tim's "small talk" stickers (a new release).
Now remember to enter your "Fresh Start" themed projects over at Inspiration Journal and one lucky winner will be given a very generous $50 gift credit, to spend at Inspiration Emporium.  You can find all the supplies I used at Inspiration Emporium via the links below.  I will have links to Tim Holtz's newest products soon.  Remember to use my coupon code - vintagemuse - to save 10% on your order.  I hope you enjoyed my Frayed Fabric tag!   If you have any questions or if there's anything I missed please let me know I love your comments, I appreciate each and everyone of them!  As always thanks for stopping by and I'll see you next time!
