Practical Scrappers Scrap Your Stash Blog Hop!

Hi everyone, hope you're having a great summer!   School is back in session and fall will be right around the corner,  which is my favorite season of the year!  It's time for Practical Scrappers Scrap Your Stash August Blog Hop!  You should have arrived from Wendy's Blog - if you didn't you may want to go back and check out all of the wonderful inspiration!   I decided to do something a little different, I made an ATC (Artist Trading Card) for the hop.
I stamped one of the gals images (from below) with Jet Black Archival Ink on 140lb watercolor paper.
Dina Wakley Media - All the Gals - MDR41290
(all of Dina's stamps ROCK!!!)
Then I  extended the image to create more of a body with the head using a Fude Ball pen from Ranger (it's waterproof).   This pen is awesome if you do any type of mixed media work too.
I used a combination of Koi watercolors and Neocolor 11 watercolor crayons to color the background and the stamped image, but you could use whatever you have on hand.

I highlighted a few areas with a white gel pen and also used some vintage music paper.   For a little more detail I dug into my stash and added some old rub ons to the background and to her top.  Now for a finishing touch I added a small heart and stamped the word "worthy" from the stamp set.  My little ATC will eventually end up either in my art journal or on a card.  Now, it's time to hop on over to Wendi's Blog!  Here is the complete list of Practical Scrappers blog hoppers, so you don't miss out on any of the fun!
