I have decided to join in on the fun with Tim's 12 Tags of 2014 (I've always wanted to), that man is pure creative genius! You can check out Tim's March tag here. Tim's technique this month was Smudge Stamping with 1st and 2nd generation images, he has a wonderful tutorial on his blog.
I actually ended up stamping two different sets of tags, I just couldn't decide which ones I liked the best.
The color combinations were the same on both sets of tags. I used peeled paint, spiced marmalade, rusty hinge, wild honey, faded jeans, stormy sky, vintage photo, walnut stain and antique linen Distress Inks. I used a combination of pads and markers, I will tell you the pads smudged much nicer due to different formulation in inks, but just use what you have! Now the stamp sets that I used were not the newest releases (working on getting those), I love ALL my Tim/Stampers Anonymous stamps!
So here's what I used:
Fairytale Frenzy CMS058
Urban Tapestry CMS061
Mini Ornates CMS064
Urban Chic CMS086
Papillon CMS106
Let me know which one is your favorite, I love your feedback. Thanks for stopping by, see ya next time!
